This collaboration geta from Mizutori and "Bingata Kobo Moribin" expresses a vibrant world, as if encapsulating the pleasant breezes and dazzling sunlight of Okinawa.
Spanning the full width of the thongs is a vivid scene of a Shikwasa field waking up, with the gentle morning light shining through and the sweet scent of white flowers wafting everywhere. It depicts a beautiful world that captures the refreshing morning atmosphere of Okinawa itself.
If you look closely at the fresh Shikwasa fruits and leaves, you might occasionally spot creatures that subtly evoke the rich nature of Okinawa, such as the Okinawa rail and goats.
The unique colors of Bingata and modern design offer an exciting summer experience, as if you're walking with art on your feet!
【What is Bingata?】
Bingata is a traditional dyeing technique with a history of about 500 years, reflecting Okinawa's rich nature and climate.
*For the thong surface of this product, we use fabric that reproduces a glittering Shikwasa pattern designed by "Bingata Kobo Moribin" using textile printing technology.

The "hitete" series is popular for being easy to walk in and making your feet look beautiful.
The approximately 4.5cm heel height is recommended for those who seek a more stable and comfortable fit.
This pair is versatile, suitable for everyday use and outings.
The shape of the toe part, in particular, makes it easy to grip the thong tightly.
Point 2: Front toe pad
Contains cushioning material for a soft feel on the foot. Designed to prevent thong chafing.
Point 3: Thong mechanism
Contains cushioning material for a soft feel on the foot. The wide width gently cradles the foot. It is molded to fit the average foot shape of Japanese people.
Point 4: Shape of the wooden base (arch)
The arch shape of the instep provides a comfortable fit.
Point 5: Wooden base material
Durable, with rich wood grain expression that develops character as you walk. Uses mahogany and sapele.
Point 6: Outsole (sole)
Uses synthetic rubber. Can be easily repaired at your local shoe repair shop. We recommend frequent replacement before the wood wears down.
*It is recommended to gradually break them in at first for a better fit and easier wear.

1. Caring for the Wooden Base and Top Plate
Wiping:
Wipe away dirt with a soft cloth lightly dampened with lukewarm water.
Detergent:
In some cases, you may wipe the surface with a diluted neutral detergent.
2. Care for the Strap
Cleaning Method:
Remove dirt with a soft brush (like a toothbrush), then wipe with a soft cloth lightly dampened with lukewarm water.
Note:
Depending on the fabric, dye may bleed, so please test on an inconspicuous area first.
Please note that soaking the strap in water will cause it to harden.
Prevention:
We recommend lightly applying a waterproof spray before use. When doing so, be careful not to spray the wooden base.
3. Rubber Sole Maintenance
When to Replace:
To prolong the life of your geta, we recommend replacing the rubber soles frequently before the wooden base wears down.
Repairs:
You can have them replaced at a local shoe repair shop. If the wear extends past the rubber and reaches the wooden base, please consult the retailer.
4. Repairing Chipped Paint
For Black:
You can touch up the area with black nail polish or a black marker to make it less noticeable.
For Dark Brown:
You can touch up the area with a wood-staining pen. Please choose a color similar to the base.
Other:
Please contact us if the chipped area is large.
5. Care for Genuine Leather Uppers
Follow the same care instructions as for general leather shoes.
Removing Dirt:
Remove dirt with a soft brush (like a toothbrush), then wipe with a soft cloth dampened with shoe cleaner.
Moisturizing and Polishing:
Apply shoe cream to a soft cloth, work it in, then brush and polish to finish.
Note:
Please be aware that discoloration may occur depending on the color of the genuine leather and the cream.

紅型が大好きなのでコラボはとても嬉しいです。紅型らしい柄と色合いでかわいいです！
高さに悩んでどれにしようと思ってたタイミングの和出かけで限定の店舗に立ち寄って実際に履いて高さを決めて買いました！
今は慣らす為に短時間で履いてますが、とても履きやすいです。少し重さを感じる時はありますが慣れたら大丈夫そうです。
紅型染めのTシャツに合わせて普段から履いてますが、慣れたら紅型の着物と帯で合わせて和出かけしようと思っているので今から楽しみです。
