"Craft Studio La Mano," established as a workshop for people with disabilities, plans and manufactures original indigo-dyed products using natural dyes, mainly indigo and botanical dyes, with techniques such as stencil dyeing and tie-dyeing.
The tie-dyed indigo is highly compatible with both yukata and denim pants.
*What is m2?...It is a coined word combining "m" from mizutori and "m" from material.

"Comfort Points"
Features a smoothly carved wooden base that fits the sole of the foot, and a thong (hanao) with cushioning material.
Point 1: Shape of the wooden base (toe)
The shape of the toe part, in particular, makes it easy to grip the thong.
Point 2: Maetsubo (toe post)
Contains cushioning material for a soft feel against the foot. Designed to prevent thong chafing.
Point 3: Thong (hanao) mechanism
Contains cushioning material for a soft feel against the foot. Its wide width firmly envelops the foot. It is molded to fit the average Japanese foot shape.
Point 4: Shape of the wooden base (arch)
The arched shape of the arch provides a comfortable fit.
Point 5: Wooden base material
Excellent durability, rich wood grain, and develops character with each step. Made from mahogany and sapele.
Point 6: Outsole (sole)
Uses synthetic rubber. Can be easily repaired at your local shoe repair shop. We recommend replacing it regularly before the wood wears down.
*Initially, gradually breaking them in will make them conform to your feet and become more comfortable to wear.
We also recommend using tabi socks or half socks.
