At mizutori, to ensure our customers can enjoy their geta for longer, we offer repair services every year from September to January of the following year.
There are two main plans for mizutori's repair service.
1: Standard Course (Sole rubber replacement + inspection)
■ Contents: This repair involves replacing the entire sole rubber and making minor scratches on the wooden base less noticeable through painting.
This plan is for those who wish to replace the sole rubber.
■ Price: 3,850 yen (tax included)
*We do not offer sole rubber replacement only. Repairs can also be done at your local shoe repair shop.
2: Special Course (Hanao replacement + sole rubber replacement + inspection)
■ Contents: In addition to replacing the entire sole rubber and making minor scratches on the wooden base less noticeable through painting, this repair also includes replacing hanao (thongs) that have become dirty or stiff.
*Hanao can only be replaced with the same product number. If the product is discontinued, we will provide further details separately.
■ Price: 6,600 yen (tax included)
Other Options
Repairing chipped wood
Contents: Even if there are no chipped fragments, this repair involves using wood filler to repair the chipped area and then repainting it.
Repairs can be made even without wood fragments.
■ Price: 1,980 yen (tax included)
Repairing chipped sole wood
■ Contents: This involves repairing areas where the wooden sole has been worn beyond the sole rubber using wood filler.
■ Price: 1,980 yen (tax included)
